I want to capture all the wonderful moments in the recent wedding I attended with my friends.

"Let's catch up" - An email from Paru asking ppl in the gang to plan for a meeting on the coming weekend. People surprised on the reason for this meeting and making guesses all over. One by one signing up for the meeting and here comes the mail 


Here's hw the conversation goes:
Paru: Hey guys, lets catch up this weekend..
Friends: Am in.
naveen: @Paru: Enna news Parvathy? Nee paaduratha(OMG) nirutha poriya? Illa un mixi palla(teeth) eduthutiya? Ethuva irrunthalum engalukku happy news than... sollu.....
Sarvana : I'm in aswell..
Naveen: @ Saru: Adangappa..... ulagamaga nadipu da saami..... naayae.... nee in illa.. OUT... ?
Magesh: Outlook le 'Like' button illada machii..
Saravana: Mandaya dai... Naan eppo receiving end la erukurathunala eppo vaangikuraen!! Aana Nadippa (ulagamaga nadipu da saami..... ) pathi nee paesum bothu enna la thaanga mudiyala.. Ellathayum stock panni vechi erukkaen.. Mavaenae naeram varattum beerangi mathiri vedichihi thaakiduraen!!!

Huuuuffffffff..Its time to move the suprise matter aside & plan for the gift!!
As usally I begin the thread about the plan for gift. Every one finalizing on the head counts and share. Finally I wrote an email that we will gift Gold coin + cake. Ohhhhh aarrggghhhh!!! I did a mistake. I copied Paru in the mail. OMMMMGGGGG!!! Bulbbb..Tinngggg..

Chandra & Shyam taking charge of the cake ordering process & gold purchasing, ordered for a beautiful heart shaped fruit cake & bought the gold coins too. Thanks to both of them!!

Our gang making their presence for the reception is a first step for victory(Sonna nerathukku correct ahhhh tannnuuu vandhu nippanga namma friends!!! apdi oru punctuality..) Medhuva oru kootam kooduchu. Met many of the college friends  - Das, swaminathan, dhanasekar, shankar, Gaja, Swapna, sujaritha, surendar, jeevan.


Akila's parents, Dolly's parents, Poorni's mom and brother, also made it for the reception, we were happy to meet them. Waiting for Manoj, nayar, koti to bring the cake and counting heads on who all are still expected to come. the count was over, we rushed to the stage with the cake. short cut le side le poondhutom. 

Blow up the candles, turn on the blowers - Colors filled the stage as S(P)aru cut the cake and fed a bit of the cake to each other. though we were very upset without having the pastry fill up their face!!! (we wanted to behave veryy decently. But will not miss it when we get another chance. :P)

Awesome n delicious food was served for the reception. It was buffet and variety of dishes ranging from Dosa to Biryani, Roti, Sweets, dhokla, kaju rolls, bisibelebath, chips, panner sabji, potato subji n so onnn...we gulped the food until our tummy said "nippaatraaahhh deii..idhuku mela edam illa".


As the concert group wrapped up for the day, the dude and the dudette got ready to give special appearance on stage. Whattt did they singg??? ofcourse , "germanyin senthen malareyy"...orey romantic looks look laam share panna, the whole crowd shifted its presence there and cheering them with "wwwwwooooooooohhhhhhhhh..once more.." here's the video.

The crowd got dispersed and finally their family took few snaps with the couple and that's the end of the reception show on Saturday. the family had their dinner and we had few minutes to take snaps with Paru in their reception costume. Both of them looked elegant n gr8 pair altogether.

Myself, chandra, magesh, manoj, rajesh, koti went in for a drive in manoj's car searching for petrol pumps at 12 midnight. we couldn't find one. finally a few cms away from the hall, I drove manoj's car till the mandapam. wooowwhhhh..it was nice to drive at that time of the hour.

Then comes the preparation for the D dayyyy..- the wedding.
Paru arranging things for the next day, and girls just watching her doing things, we all freshened up for the night out on Saturday. though a few backd out of the plan - a few respectful friends stayed to enjoy the night out.


Enna pannom???
Our arrangement head - mr. Karthick Sir gave us important work for the wedding. Thamboolam bag ready pannanum. Approx 400 bags :D :D :D


Every1 geared to complete the activity, brought in bundles of mosambi, beatle leaves n nuts, choclates, and a card. All of them took their turns to fill one bag and we finished more than 400 bags that night in few hours...hurrayyyy!!!


wat do you think was the booster pack for every1 to complete this work??? THE STORYYYY..Yesssss, "when, how, what, where" stories.. the stories we dont know of betweeennnnnnn Saru n paru. there begins the fun. (I'm trying my best to recall all the moments. but those who did not make it, I would definitely say "you missed a lot"). 


To pull this out from Saravana, it took hrs for him to tell us. Finally when he made up his mind to tell the story - Paru kicks him and says "sensor panni sollala - mavaney vettiruvenn". Saravana silently agrees to her and started telling the story.


They met in college for the 1st time. D section was their barren land, waves n signals passed correctly in that land, IV ponappo road podalaama venamaannu vasthu check pannanga, poittu vandha peraguuu road eh pottanga, potta road liyeh travel pannum bodhu oru speedbraker(bike le rendu perum poradha veetle paathutanga). Speed slow down aachu, veetle adhukku aprum onnum kekala. Dhideernu oru naal, Red signal on the road - Paru's parents were investigating the SMS messages on their mobile and confirmed about the layout of the road. road potta paiyanoda family easy ah convince aaga, ponnu veetle konjam rude aaga, Seri... Road strong ah solid ah dhan potrukanga nu solli - oru tractor ah otradhukku naal kurichanga - 13th Nov.

ivalllooo kadalai eh varuthu sapidaradhukulla - time 4 aagiduchu.. Girls ellam ready aaga kelambittom, few guys left home since they dint bring changing clothes. 


Paru woke up and got ready with a green saree and ornaments - then comes the change in plan - madisaar for oonjal, adhai thirumbavum maathi katti..cute maami maari dress pannirundha Paru..maama maari, veshti-angavasthram oda Saravana pattai ya pottuttu ninnaan(kaluthula kotta missing). 

ella girls um ready aaguradhu kulla - Paru onnjal ceremony mudichu vandhutta. Big standing ovation to Beebi for having patience to tie saree for all girls n teaching them there.


All girls decked up in silk sarees looking bright colorful n beautiful came to the hall finallyy..all sleepy eyes were waiting to watch the moment. Akila running here and there, every1 else was set to watch the wedding.. In another few mins, Sarvana tied the mangalsutra to paru and they kept a red colored crown like thing on paru's head. 

mags was clicking pics to show to his north indian friends..slow ah entry kudukuranga manoj, rajesh n naveen, priya, anitha.. adhukku parum vibushan thalai thenpattadhu. oru valiya ellam vandhu settle aagi, poi manamakkalai vazhthinom, kalaichom, photo eduthuttu, sapda poitom.


we all had virundhu saapadu and we packed things & was eagerly waiting to go home and sleep for sometime. It was time to bid good bye to all of them and have a handshake.

Congratulations to Paru and Saravana for the beautiful road you've constructed. Wish you both drive the tractor happily and enjoy the long journeys in that road. Beware of speedbrakers and signals, slow down when required. Hope the road is a never ending road and keeps growing as you both grow together. Enjoy togetherness and stay happy forever!!

last but not the least - a big applause for your parents for making your dreams come true. you both are really lucky to have such parents :)))
